Services

A clear picture, read carefully by people who look for a living.

Direct Medicare provides ultrasound scanning across the abdomen, pelvis, joints and soft tissue — non-invasive imaging performed by qualified sonographers, using the same standard of equipment for every appointment.

Non-invasive, painless

Ultrasound uses sound waves, not radiation, to build a live image of the area being examined.

Performed by sonographers

Every scan is carried out and reviewed by a trained sonography professional.

Sent to your clinician

Findings are documented and shared with the doctor managing your care.

Sixteen scan types, organised by the part of the body they examine.

Whether you’ve been referred for a single scan or a combined study, each service below covers what the appointment includes and the structures your sonographer will assess. If you’re unsure which scan applies to you, your referring clinician’s request form will usually confirm it.
